TIMESPALEMBANG, JAKARTA – Keeping your immune strong is the key to get you away from any virus that attack such as the booming coronavirus recently. Having enough nutrients and enough water and of course healthy lifestyle will help you to keep your body fit.

However, there are certain conditions that will make your immune breakdown eventhough you have try your best to keep it. Taken form Livestrong, here are several things that can turn tour immune.

1. Too much junk food

Normally junk food will contain lots of additives such as sugar and else. Foods with high carbs and sugar can take a toll on your immune system. Junk food could kill the bacteria that helps your digestive system.

2. Lack of sleep

Lacking of sleep could affect your immune system as well. According to National Sleep Foundation, taking your smartphone with you and stay with it before your sleep will even give worse effect and won't let the melatonin that make you sleepy work properly.

3. Drinking too much

Drinking too much alcohol could lead you to have a bad immune system. It could also lead to a bad digestion and kidney failure.

4. Smoking

Smoking harms the immune system and can make the body less successful at fighting disease. The effects of tobacco smoke on the immune system include greater susceptibility to infections such as pneumonia and influenza and more severe and long-lasting illnesses.

5. Stress

Stress can ruin your immune system. Whether it’s due to work, money, or your health there may not be much you can do to change your situation. Set your priority and do all the thing in consequence to avoid a bigger stress appears. Deep breathing, meditation, exercise and making time to connect with friends and have fun can make all the difference. (*)
