TIMESPALEMBANG, MALANG – The forest fires that struck Australia in September 2019 leaves a huge impact to the local wildlife. This become a concern for the Prigen Safari Park to help the endangered animals with fundraising.

"We would like to take people to raise their awareness to the forest fires in Australia through this fundraising," The General Manager Taman Safari Frigen, Diaz Yonadie said.

There around 10 donation boxes spread around the park. The boxes have a big print says "Saving Australian Wildlife" located in certain areas such as the entrance door, animal exhibition, restaurant and the hotel.

The fundraising will be held for 10 days starting from january 20th to January 29th 2020. The fund was intended to be used to help the animals by cooperating with ZAA (Zoo and Aquarium Association) Australia.

Several program will be conducted to help the animals such as rescue, rehabilitation, and medical treatment.

Prigen Safari Park will also planned to help the ecosystem restoration. They will also trying to help to reserve the local ecosystem from the damage the Australian forest fires cost. (*)
